Recreation Aid NF-01

Summary

This position is located at Fort Leavenworth FMWR Trails West Golf Course. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Management has the right to assign staff to locations as missions require.

Incentives and Bonuses: Incentives will not be paid.

Duties

  • In a golf program, may act as Starter/Marshall, assures tee sheets run on time, assures maximum usage of available tee times by pairing singles, twosomes and threesomes, and assists golfers in need of playing partners.
  • Keeps flow of play moving on the golf course, and assists customers looking for lost balls to keep play moving.
  • Golf Carts: assists in pulling up and staging the fleet for play, assists in washing and parking fleet when no longer needed for the day.
  • May assist in picking driving range.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
  • Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card.
  • Willing to accept an Intermittent or Flexible Appointment.
  • Must be able and willing to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Allowances and Differentials: This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, COLA, and differentials will not be paid.
